Thanks Dave! I ordered my 5000k kit and should have it by this weekend or early next week.

Okay, after a few nights with each (5000k / 6000k) I'm 100% happy with the 5000k. They look great! I'm really impressed with the beam pattern too.

Hey Dave,

I ordered my kit from MobileHID as I mentioned but they were out of stock for the H11 5k kit. They sent an e-mail saying they expected some in soon and with a brand new *digital* ballast. This is a big plus as I wont have to run wires to the battery (or some other point) any longer!

I am certainly going with the 5k setup.

One question: did your stock lights have two weird jagged sections (seen best when shining on a wall). Kind of like:

Code:
               --------------------- -------------------
-------------/ ----------------------/

Yes, both the stock and the HID made the same odd pattern on the wall. The only real change I've seen (other than the brightness and color) is the rainbow seen on the outer edge of the beam is more intense.

I just finished making the H11 to HID Plug-and-Play cable. This plugs into the H11 Low Beam socket, and powers a Digital HID Ballast. Here it is:

I've added some images of where I mounted the HID Ballasts.

Did you guys cover the squirrel spotters? Care to mention procedure? I'm hoping this can be done w/o removing the entire headlight assy

I did not. I figured that I would if I saw a problem with the beams, so far I have not.
