HV battery bus bars

HV battery bus bars
I have cleaned the very corroded bus bars on my HV battery and am ready for reassembly. I assume some type of dielectric grease would be good to minimize future corrosion.
Does anyone have an opinion or recommendation for a dielectric grease?

Re: HV battery bus bars
Yes. Install without. Not worth the mess. Critical that you tighten the nuts to 48 in-lb.
I suspect that you noticed your bus bars were the least corroded in the area that contacted the module terminal's flat end face. There was likely some intrusion of corrosion around the perimeter of the contact face, but the majority of the facing material had little or no corrosion.
This is the only area that matters. The rest of the surfaces have negligible influence on the conductivity of the bus bar.

Thank you for the prompt feedback. I like your thinking, no grease , no mess.
Yes, the main cable/ECU connections were like new but most of the bars and nuts had a nice mix of blue and white corrosion. What you might expect from a 2007 that has never been touched.
