Re: Japan Camry Accessories
i really dig the folding mirrors too, wonder if they work with the existing wiring?
are the folding mirrors different than the mirrors with turn signals?

Re: Japan Camry Accessories
Update - Well after continued thought and pondering I placed the order for the turn mirros (again) but this time in white or silver (since each wuold be easier to prep for painting). Should take about 3-4 weeks. Only "concern" is the paint match since they are in SoCal - me in Virginia - and nobody local will give me a price (yet) on painting two mirrors. Carson wanted $125 and told me I could send my gas door to them to color match. Hmm...... dont know yet, but I have 4 weeks to figure it out.
I had them check again to verify function and they say - according to the info on file - that these will "plug-n-play" on a Camry built in Japan. Wire mods are required for US built models.
They do not power fold, but will fold in (again, according to "the guy"). The dealership (Carson Toyota in SoCal) can get ANY item shown on the overseas website. The web site does offer power folding mirrors, tilt down reverse mirrors, the turn signal mirrors, etc. It appears that the turn signal mirrors are only offered as a separate option not combined with any of the above features (maybe and issue with the housing and control?).

Re: Japan Camry Accessories
If the first ( 1st ) digit of the VIN is " J ", it was manufactured in Japan.
Also, check the driver's side door post, on the black label, last line will say "made(or manufactured) in Japan".
