Where the heck is the oil filter?

Re: Where the heck is the oil filter?
I did mine for the first time last weekend at 1,900 miles.
I used a K&N filter(HP-1003) that has a nice 1" hex piece welded to the end that accommodates a normal 1" socket. You also need a 6" extension. The drain plug is 14mm. I used a large pair of channel lock plyers to get the original Toyota filter off since I did not have the proper tool.
I have a floor jack and the TCH has a nice jack point right in the middle of the frame (see owners manual) that makes access a breeze. I hate working blind so jacking up the vehicle is a must for me.
I do my oil changes hot but with the thinness of 20w oil cold should be fine (I'm used to working with 30w oils or more).
I used 4.5 quarts of Castrol GTX 5-20W since I live in CA and normally change my oil every 3,000 miles.
